Tenofovir fumarate (TAF) is an oral nucleoside transcriptase inhibitor developed by Gilead. It is another prodrug of tenofovir dipivoxil fumarate (TDF). It is developed for hepatitis B virus infection (HBV) and acquired immune syndrome (HIV).

Tenofovir and eilaphenolamine fumarate can be used as solvent, catalyst for alkylation, esterification and polymerization. 99% of the products are mainly used in medicine and 70% in electroplating industry.
